Memopezil Supplement Facts, line by line

The Supplement Facts box has ten lines worth knowing. The table follows the label from top to bottom. Each amount is per 2-capsule serving, which is also the full daily amount.

Read from the Memopezil label image. The Daily Value symbol applies to all five active ingredients.

Add up the five active lines and you get 1,030 mg per serving. That is roughly 515 mg of active ingredients in each capsule. Background on each ingredient is on Memopezil ingredients.

The dagger symbol

What does "Daily Value not established" mean?

It means no official daily amount exists for that ingredient. The FDA sets Daily Values for nutrients like vitamin C and calcium. Herbs and amino acids like bacopa or L-theanine have none.

Federal rules say what to do in that case. The label must list the amount per serving and add a symbol that means "Daily Value not established" (21 CFR 101.36). Memopezil follows this rule on every active line.

So a missing percentage is not a gap in the label. It is simply how these ingredients must be shown.

Transparency

Why is printing every amount a good sign?

Many memory supplements hide their amounts inside a proprietary blend. A blend shows one total weight, not the amount of each ingredient. Memopezil does the opposite. Every active ingredient has its own number.

You can check the science

Printed amounts let you compare each ingredient with the doses used in research.

Your doctor can review it

A pharmacist can check exact amounts against your medicines, not guesses.

You can compare brands

Line up two labels and see which one gives more of the ingredient you care about.

No hidden fillers in the actives

With no blend, there is no way for a cheap ingredient to take up most of the weight.

Printed amounts also make safety talks easier. If you take medicine, bring the bottle to your next visit. Your doctor can see at a glance that each serving holds 200 mg of bacopa and 90 mg of ginseng. Safety notes for each ingredient are on Memopezil side effects.

BCAAs

What does BCAA 2:1:1 mean?

It is the mix of the three branched chain amino acids. The ratio is two parts L-leucine to one part L-isoleucine to one part L-valine. Leucine gets the double share.

The label does not print each amino acid on its own. If the ratio is by weight, 540 mg would split into about 270 mg of leucine and 135 mg each of isoleucine and valine.

BCAA research on mental tiredness used about 7 to 10 grams during hard exercise (Blomstrand, 2006). Those studies looked at exercise, not memory.

Rhodiola

What does 3% salidroside mean?

It tells you the rhodiola extract is standardized. That means it is made to contain a set level of a marker compound. For rhodiola, the usual marker is salidroside.

At 3% of 100 mg, each serving gives about 3 mg of salidroside. Standardizing helps each batch stay consistent from bottle to bottle.

Rhodiola trials used 100 to 576 mg of extract a day (Ishaque et al., 2012). At 100 mg, Memopezil sits at the low end of that range.

Rest of the label

What else is printed on the bottle?

Beyond the facts box, the label carries directions, a caution and the maker's details. Here is each one in brief.

Suggested use

Two capsules a day with an 8 oz glass of water, ideally 20 to 30 minutes before a meal.

Caution

Do not exceed the dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, under-18s and anyone with a medical condition should ask a physician first.

Storage

Keep away from heat, light and humidity. Store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.

Distributed by

GEX Corp, Lakeland, FL 33804, +1 (507) 448-8190. Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients.

The front panel also carries the FDA line: "*These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease." Full directions are on how to take Memopezil.

Label check

Why does the info page list honey when the label does not?

The brand's info page and the retailer pack name five ingredients: pure honey, bacopa extract, rhodiola root powder, L-theanine and ginseng extract. The Supplement Facts box does not match that list.

Honey is absent from the label entirely. Rhodiola appears as a standardized extract instead of a root powder. The 540 mg of BCAAs, the biggest line on the label, is missing from the info page.

The label wins

When two sources disagree, go by the Supplement Facts label. It is the document on the bottle you hold. This site treats Memopezil as the five label ingredients, with no honey.

Honest note

What does the label leave out?

A few details that careful buyers look for are not printed. None of these is required by law, but each would help.

  • Bacoside percentage. Bacopa trials used extracts standardized to bacosides. The Memopezil label does not state a level.
  • Plant parts. The label does not say which part of the bacopa, rhodiola or ginseng plant is used.
  • Extract ratios. No ratio such as 10:1 is given, so the amount of raw herb behind each extract is unknown.
  • Per-amino amounts. The BCAA line gives a total and a ratio, not each amino acid.

Lot and batch questions are covered on Memopezil batch verification. Keep in mind that the FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements).

FAQ

Memopezil Supplement Facts FAQ

What is the serving size of Memopezil?

Two capsules. The label lists 30 servings per 60-capsule bottle, so one bottle lasts 30 days.

Does Memopezil use a proprietary blend?

No. Each of the five active ingredients has its own amount printed on the Supplement Facts panel.

Why is there no % Daily Value on the Memopezil label?

None of its ingredients has an official Daily Value. Federal rules say to list the amount and mark it "Daily Value not established," which is what the label does.

What does 3% salidroside mean?

The rhodiola extract is made to contain 3% salidroside, a marker compound. In 100 mg of extract, that is about 3 mg.

How much leucine is in Memopezil?

The label does not print it. If the 2:1:1 ratio is by weight, the 540 mg of BCAAs would hold about 270 mg of leucine.

Is honey an ingredient in Memopezil?

No. The info page mentions honey, but the Supplement Facts panel does not list it. The label is the record to go by.

Who distributes Memopezil?

The label names GEX Corp, Lakeland, FL 33804, with the phone number +1 (507) 448-8190.

Does the FDA approve Memopezil?

No. The FDA does not approve any dietary supplement before it is sold. The label says it is made in an FDA-registered facility, which describes the factory, not the product.
